Račice Castle opens its gates on June 13!

Dear guests,

Allow us to invite you from June 13, 2022 to Račice Castle, which has been an impressive landmark of the Vyškov region for centuries. With this, we are launching the final season before the extensive reconstruction that awaits Račice Castle this autumn!

In the castle premises and its forecourt, we offer accommodation in apartments and tourist-type rooms. This year, we also offer luxurious apartments and executive rooms in retro-lux style in the castle forecourt. During your visit, you can enjoy everything the castle and its surroundings have to offer. Near the castle, there are many destinations worth visiting.

You can go hiking around the Pístovice Pond (3 km), along the educational trail of Rakovec Valley (3.5 km), to the pilgrimage church in Křtiny (10.5 km), or to the Chocholík lookout tower (6 km). Ideal trips for children include Dinopark Vyškov (10 km), horseback riding on very calm horses (9 km), and the Museum of Aviation and Ground Technology (10 km). For lovers of natural wonders, Výpustek Cave (12 km) and the Moravian Karst (26 km) are located near the castle.

At the castle, 2 guided tour circuits await you. The "Piano nobile" tour circuit will guide you through the traditional castle interiors. In the "Castle Cellars and Economic Facilities" tour circuit, you will peek into cellar spaces carved into the rock, see the historical heating technology of residential rooms, and other interesting features. At the end of the tour, you will receive a free printed brochure Račice Castle - Illustrated History, and you can also look forward to an animated surprise!

There are opportunities for both cultural and sports activities. In the surroundings, there are cycling routes, trails, or you can relax directly in the castle courtyard, where there is a prepared area for grilling, a fire pit, and you can also taste our craft beer from EFI Brewery.
