Račice Castle, Račice-Pístovice - main building

This is a Renaissance castle complex situated in a picturesque setting between the Drahanská Highlands and the Moravian Karst. It is located within its own forest park covering an area of 5.5 hectares. The castle complex consists of the castle buildings, the forecastle, and several adjacent buildings.

In 2020, a building permit was legally issued for the reconstruction of the castle into a training center and castle wellness hotel.  During this reconstruction, luxurious apartments, a congress hall, and an exclusive wellness area will be created in the main castle building.

Currently, guided tours take place year-round in the main building on two circuits, Piano Nobile and Castle Cellars. Until 2023, tourist-type accommodation was also operated in the main building. From 2023, a broader reconstruction of the interior accommodation and common areas, including the exterior facade and courtyard, is planned.

In the Forecastle, you will find eleven luxurious Diamond-type rooms and apartments, one Deluxe family apartment with 3 bedrooms and a living room with kitchenette accommodating up to 7 people, and 3 Classic-type rooms. One of the apartments even has its own wine cellar. All apartments and rooms are fully and functionally furnished and have their own bathrooms. The total accommodation capacity in the Račice Forecastle is 36 beds.

In the years 2020-2022, reconstruction of the Forecastle and the buildings of the former barn and gamekeeper's lodge, which we named Podzámčí (Undercastle), was already completed. In the Forecastle, the reconstruction created a smaller congress hall Konírna for 80 people and the EFI Hostinec Konírna restaurant with a terrace and seating area.

In Undercastle, which was opened in summer 2023, we built 11 luxurious apartments for 2-4 people, a common room with a fireplace and self-service beer tap, a shared kitchen, wellness area, and a summer outdoor area with an open swimming pool. The total accommodation capacity in the Račice Uncdercastle is 34 beds.

After complete reconstruction, a unique complex with an excellent location will be created, situated 22 km northeast of Brno and 11 km from the Prague-Brno-Ostrava highway.
